2 Weeks Old

Today the litter is 2 whole weeks old! They all have their eyes open and have grown exponentially. Their little personalities are starting to emerge, and the couple that were a touch whiny have now become content. (thank goodness!) They look so much older now that we can see their eyes! Here are some photos I just took.

They love to have their heads cradled in our hands/fingers.

Days 9 & 10

Things have been a little slow here in puppy land. I was just telling John earlier I am ready for them to get those eyes opened and start being more puppies and less blobs! Although I know it will go fast, so I best not wish it away.

Their coats are coming in fuller every day. Tonight I noticed two of the puppies eyes were starting to slit open just a touch. They are content for longer periods of time, sleeping in their puppy pile, without Mama.

Speaking of Mama, Jill is still doing great with them. Very protective when she feels the need, but also relaxed and will leave them to go for a run or inside family time.
