The puppies are all walking! They are also wrestling around with each other, and barking at one another and even at us for attention. Their bark is so cute. It starts as a grrrr in the throat and then a little yip, their entire bodies moving with it. Their tails are healing nicely from the docking, still have a dark scab though. Yesterday afternoon the children and I spent about 20 minutes with them, playing, petting, holding. The pups are getting to like the attention from us and some will walk toward us to interact. It makes me realize how much more FUN they are going to be in a couple of weeks! And here's a short (19 sec) video I took of them playing.

These photos are from yesterday afternoon. The pups were crashed in their puppy pile, but it didn't take long with me petting a few to get them all riled up. I told John as soon as one wakes, they all wake!
They are getting their back legs under them more. Some are full on walking, albeit awkwardly, while a few are still army-crawling. Their eyes are clearing and we can tell they are really actually looking at us. This afternoon one was resting her head on the corner of the whelping box checking things out beyond her "world".
Jill is still doing great. She has had her hands full keeping the pups clean. Yesterday evening John decided it was time for her to have a bath! It was much needed and she felt so good afterward. She stayed inside with us for about a half hour sleeping on John in the recliner, like old times.
