MJ (Missy) Update

Here are three photos of Missy her family sent.  The photo quality isn't the best as I had to take a picture of each photo off the computer as it wouldn't let me save them to my hard drive so I could upload.

Bye to Ben.

This morning we said goodbye to Ben, aka "The Bearded One". This was the hardest pup to let go of, other than our first puppy to leave (MJ), because we planned for Ben to stay with us. He was never on the "available" list of puppies. He was #4 on the short list however, which is why when we had interest in a pup a few weeks ago, we discussed heavily letting him go. It took us over a day of debate to make the decision to sell him. That deal then fell through! It was disappointing to go through the ups and downs to then have it not work out.

We discussed and chose to keep him for sale, for all the reasons we had hashed through. Only a handful of days went by before we got a call from a family in Indiana who was very interested in Ben. The family put a deposit on him, and were able to get away this weekend to come and pick him up. They have 2 young boys and will have Ben as a dual companion/hunting dog. That is the perfect scenario we had hoped for! We feel 100% confident in his new home, although he will be missed.
