Dogwood Hills Brittanys: Jill & John

Jill is such a daddy's girl. They have shared an amazing bond since Day 1.

Our Brittanys

Our first Brittanys, Jill & Penny, are sisters that joined our family in August 2007. They were born in June 2007. Both were professionally trained by John Kline of Linvel Kennels after turning a year old.

Jill has amazing natural talent that needs little direction. She is very intense on the field and is ready to go at all times. She's our "superstar" and proves it every hunting season.

Penny was a little slower to mature in the field. However in the past two hunting seasons she has really turned it on, making us proud.

We kept one male pup from Jill's Take Flight Litter. Jett is a big runner with a wide range. He has both the genes and the drive required to round out our powerhouse kennel.

Our Brittanys fill a dual role of family pet/working dog, which in our opinion is the best of both worlds!

The Journey of Breeding

We have been beyond pleased with the high caliber of pups the Take Flight Litter has produced. The combination of Dubb and Jill was truly a perfect match.

We chose to breed Jill because of her highly intense drive and natural talent. Our entire purpose for this litter was to increase our own hunting kennel. However, the passionate Brittany owners we have had the pleasure of meeting and taking one of our pups has made this experience all the more fulfilling.

It has been a wonderful journey for our family! Jill has far exceeded our expectations as a loving and nurturing mother. We are looking forward to the many future hunts we will have!
